Back to School Picnic - please mark your calendars (again) with the new date for the Back to School Picnic on Friday, September 28th from 5:30-8pm in the field behind the school.  Bring a blanket or chairs, enjoy some music, and get to know other AES families.  Snow Cones and Homeslyce pizza will be available to purchase.

Read A Thon- Please help AES PTA raise funds while getting our students excited about reading.  If you haven't done so already, please activate your child's pledge page and start collecting donations.  Every student that activates a pledge page can select a free prize from the student's pledge page.  Remember, we are trying to raise enough money to complete the purchase of a new cart of computers for the school.  If you have questions, or can't locate your student's secret code please email aesptapresident@gmail.com. Read A Thon will end on Friday, September 28th.

AES PTA Bake Sale- AES PTA is sponsoring the Silver Knights Chess Tournament (Silver Knights website) on Saturday, September 29th.  Playing chess and cheering on chess players is hard work.  With the tournament lasting several hours, these folks need yummy baked goods to keep them going.  In addition to baked goods, we will be offering tacos in a bag, so if baking isn't your thing you can still help out with other donated items.  Please sign up to volunteer donations below:
